NDDH - Lessons for Babies and Pre-School.

We offer swimming lessons at the North Devon District Hospital.

The pool is a small hydrotherapy pool heated to approximately 34°c. The pool is standing depth throughout. Spectators are more than welcome to watch on pool side but will need to stand as the pool is above ground level.

There are changing facilities and seperate toilets available.

If you wish to park in the Hospital grounds it is £1.60 alternitively you can park elswhere outside of the hospital grounds and walk up.

Entrance in through the main building and then follow signs to the physio department.

This pool follows the Baby Swim Foundation Programme with children progressing to the ASA Duckling award scheme. Usually between 2 and 3 years of age these children will move to our West Buckland pool to continue their lessons.

Each course is 12 weeks long and only runs in school term time.

Lessons are held:

Monday - 4:15-5:15

Tuesday - 4:15-5:15

Wednesday - 4:15-5:15

Thursday - 4:15-5:15

Friday - 4:15-5:15

Each Lesson lasts half and hour and there are a maximum of 6 children in the lessson.

Each course costs £84.00 and can be payable in full or in 2 or 3 instalments.

The Double Nappy system is compulsory for all non-potty trained children at this pool.
