Woodford Bridge pool is situated within the grounds of Woodford Bridge Country Club with its beautiful pathways and woodlands. There is also a restaurant, outside play area and bar which can be used. The depth starts at 0.9m and slowly increases to 2.06m, with the pool being 15.5m in length, there are steps into the pool allowing safe entry. A section of the pool is roped off for swimming lessons. There is designated seating area for spectators upstairs in Blakes bar, although parents of very young children can watch from poolside. There are also changing rooms, toilets and showers.

At this pool we teach all ages and all abilities to swim and to be safe in the water. We follow the Amateur Swimming Association’s National Plan for Teaching Swimming which works towards safety, skills, strokes and success. If the parent and child wish, we will also test for other awards like personal survival, diving, cub and brownie badges etc.

Each course is 12 weeks long and only runs in school term time.

Lessons are held:

Thursday mornings and late afternoon, after school

Other days and times may be available on request.

Each course costs £69.00 and can be payable in full or in 2 instalments.

The Double Nappy system is compulsory for all non-potty trained children at this pool.
